The world is full of people championing causes big and small.
What you need is someone to shine THE light.

Maybe you're a nonprofit looking to draw others to your cause so you can do more. Maybe you're a grassroots group addressing an emerging need. Maybe you're a group of artists working to uplift and inspire your community. Maybe you're a big business doing something new and noble.

The common denominator in all causes is concern for others and our community, and in order to help others and grow support for what you do, you have to be seen and appreciated.

That's where I come in.

Through your work, you know your community. You talk to people so you know what's going on. You care about your community and you dig down deep to help it succeed.

I'm wired the same way, and I know how to give you the visibility your work deserves. I see connections in the community that add up to opportunities and visibility. I know our community and I know how to tell its stories.

I can help you tell your part of the story by earning media coverage where you want to be seen.

Marvin Stockwell

Making the case for things I believe in allows me to do the type of whole-hearted work that drives uncommon results for my clients.

I’ve spent the last 20 years working as a PR pro at all points along the nonprofit spectrum, from two small grassroots nonprofits I co-founded, to Church Health, a midsize social safety net charity, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, one of the world's most recognizable nonprofit brands.

I’ve always been a mission-driven person, and I've been fortunate to lead some great organizations from the inside. Now, I’m able to leverage all I’ve learned to serve a variety of missions.

I chose the name Champion the Cause and the image of a lantern because my goal is to shine a light on the good that's in my city and in the world.

Champions of The Lost Causes explores why people champion causes, what sustains them and what helps them succeed.
